🔈Small Announcement🔈
I’ll be away for Thanksgiving, so I’ll only post a short jobs list for next week’s issue.
Enjoy the holidays!
Hello Job Seeker!
Are you tried of?
The ghosting. The searching. Questioning if the job post is even real?
Yeah, me too.
So, lets figure it out together and why not share what I’m finding and learning?
Resources of the Week
Website of the Week: Creative Lives in Progress is a creative careers resource helping creatives connect and understand the industry.
Creative Things to Watch: Did you know that George Washington Carver was an artist?
Creative Things to Read: This fall, The University of Minnesota Twin Cities began offering a new UX science degree to expand opportunities for students.
Real Sites, Real jobs.
When I find legit sites, companies, or jobs. I’ll send them your way.
Our website of the week is Creative Lives in Progress.

Homepage
Creative Lives In Progress is a go-to resource for anyone navigating the creative industry. It’s packed with detailed guides, collaborative opportunities, and a magazine that offers honest, inspiring insights from working creatives. They’ve got both US and UK versions of the site. The UK side tends to have more listings and resources, but even if you're not based there, it's still worth a scroll.
Type of creative and design jobs you’ll find: Artist Open Calls and Art Residencies, Multidisciplinary Opportunities, Graphic Design, Creative/Design Assistant, and more!

What I love most? The Creative Industry Guides. These guides are thoughtfully written and packed with practical insights for navigating the creative world. Plus, they have portfolio review events! They prioritize creatives who haven’t had a review with them before, so take the chance to get feedback.
What could be improved or added? I wish the US side of the website had more information overall, but Creative Lives In Progress is based in the UK. So, I appreciate that they even offer a US version and trying to expanded it.
Below are a few standout roles from Creative Lives In Progress, along with a few extras I’ve handpicked from beyond the platform.
