We’re over it.

The ghosting. The searching. Questioning if the job post is even real.

I’m over it. Are you over it?

UGH. Its the mood that I’ve been feeling lately and probably you too if your reading this.

So, lets figure it out together, I’ve been searching for work for sometime now and why not share what I’m finding and learning?

Resources Of The Week

Real Sites, Real jobs.

When I find legit sites, companies, or jobs. I’ll send them your way.

Our website of the week is Welcome to the Jungle.

Welcome to the Jungle homepage

Welcome to the Jungle is a global AI powered job broad platform that matches job seeker with companies and vice versa - base on experience, location, industry, and skills/tools.

When you create an account, you’ll build a profile that can be used to apply to roles in the “Apply with your profile” section and is searchable by companies looking for talent. Their AI will help you rewrite your resume/CV bullet points and you can also download your profile as a resume/CV PDF for applications outside the platform.

I do want to note that Welcome to the Jungle tends to showcases more startup and tech related companies.

All My Matches section

Information about the role and company

It gives you a solid breakdown of the companies you match with. Welcome to the Jungle team writes their own take about the companies to give it a human touch. Shout out to Freddie and Steph, I mainly see their opinion takes for the roles I get.

What I find helpful are the direct links to employee reviews (via Glassdoor), the “Leadership and People” section (some with videos!) and the list of open roles at that company. You can get a good understanding of whether a company is the right fit for you.

One potential drawback of the “Apply with your profile” section is that some companies might still require you to reapply through their own website. It’s worth confirming whether they prefer the Welcome to the Jungle resume/CV PDF or your standard version.

Company List

Even in this wild job market, please remember: you deserve to be treated well at work. I’ve been there and… man…it’s soul-crushing. If you have the time, take the time to find a place that respects you. And if you don’t, I hope some of these job boards, communities, and roles I’m sharing will help get you there.

Since you’ll need to create an account to see your matches on the platform, this week’s job list is short (and very unrelated to AI) and handpicked from beyond Welcome to the Jungle.
